I recently started a new job as a Privacy & Public Policy Manager at Facebook, where I work on issues relating to data portability and automated decision making.

Priort to that, I spent nearly 10 years at at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where I was the Assistant Director for Research and led some of the Center’s work on the ethics and governance of artificial intelligence, online censorship, Internet governance, and more.

I’m a recovering lawyer, oft-injured runner, and father to two wonderful girls. In my spare time, I’m a mostly self-taught iOS app developer who plays around with Swift and SwiftUI.
